What do you do?

“I’m a blogger!”

When did you start your platform?

“July 4, 2017 – I’ve wanted to start a blog for years because I’ve always loved to write, however, I never could manage my time between undergrad classes and my social life. After graduating undergrad and transitioning into graduate school I decided to make time and do what I was passionate about. I built a platform with the intention to speak for the voiceless, celebrate blackness, and empower women.”

Who or what inspires you?

“Music inspires me, art inspires me, and this generation of leaders/activist and change makers inspires me. Specific people like Karen Civil, Sylvia Obell, Luvvie, Issa Rae, just to name a few inspire me because they undeniably embraced themselves and creating their own brand, identity through their talent and their faith.”

What quote do you live by?

“When I dare to be powerful, to use my strength in the service of my vision, then it becomes less and less important whether I am afraid.” – Audre Lorde

What’s the name of the soundtrack to your life?

“You should be here”

Where do you see yourself in 5-10 years?

“In the next 5 to 10 years, I see myself with two books published, practicing as a PR practitioner at a major organization, and working to open up a not for profit organization.”

What would you like potential consumers to know about you?

“I would like consumers to know that I’m extremely passionate about speaking out for and in celebration of oppressed groups of people. I’m a lover of a lot of things (art, music, poetry, reading, writing, television, food, wine) lol. I’m a natural hair enthusiast and advocate. I’m the educated (sometimes quiet), awkward, fun girl next door.”
